Today’s students play a crucial role in the emerging commons movement. First of all, you are a generation that grew up sharing ideas and information on the Internet, which operates precisely as a commons. And secondly, you must squarely face the problems caused by society’s neglect of the common good: economic anxiety, climate disruption, skyrocketing tuition, privatization of public assets, rampant individualism, and more.

On the Commons, a movement strategy center, is reaching out to students across the world to hear their views about how we can move forward to a future with more opportunity for everyone.
